The Legacie Foundation is a fundraising and social impact initiative dedicated to improving the lives of local people and communities. Through giving back, the foundation empowers individuals to build better futures and create lasting change. This commitment goes beyond our social responsibility as a business, it reflects our values and is woven into everything we do. The Legacie Foundation proudly supports three local charities that are meaningful to us. These charities have been carefully chosen as they care for and empower young people and adults within the community, often from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The Inclusive Hub
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
"Supporting the people and communities of Liverpool and beyond is more than just our social responsibility; it’s something I deeply believe in. Growing up, I saw how my dad, through our family-run scaffolding business, gave others a chance when opportunities were scarce, instilling in me a sense of responsibility and community. At Legacie, as we help build new communities in Liverpool, we remain committed to those we already serve. We actively support local people, including recruiting ex-offenders to close the skills gap and build a loyal, strong workforce. Through the Legacie Foundation, we strive to leave the world a little better than we found it."

Community Engagement
Appentices giving time back for litter picking
Community Engagement is important to us as a business, and we actively participate through a variety of ways including conducting site visits with students and professors from LJMU, introducing them to a live construction site, as well as sharing a company presentation, industry insights and a Q&A session to inspire the next generation of professionals. We actively encourage our staff to participate in fundraising activities for our charities through our ‘Give something Back’ days, whether that be raising donations or giving our time. Every Legacie employee is entitled to paid charity time per year to support our local causes.
The Second Chance Scheme is an in-house programme designed to give ex-offenders a second chance.
Through our award-winning Second Chance scheme we recruit and employ ex-offenders, providing training and career opportunities in construction, helping them reintegrate into society. Since 2016, we have supported 50 prison leavers creating a diverse workforce as well as helping to reduce reoffending rates.
The Bright Futures Scheme offers full-time, paid apprenticeships in construction equipping young people with the skills and opportunities to thrive.
Each year, we offer paid apprenticeships in construction, providing hands-on site experience, expert mentorship, and support towards a degree-level qualification from Liverpool John Moores University. We’re passionate about investing in local young talent and expanding our recruitment of graduates and apprentices in the coming years, with commitment to take on new apprentices across construction and commercial divisions. We also offer ongoing training to ensure a qualified and skilled workforce.
