The Old Baths is a landmark mixed-tenure development in the heart of Garston Village, delivered by South Liverpool Homes and co-funded by Homes England. Built on the historic site of the former Garston Public Baths, the scheme provides 74 high-quality one- and two-bedroom apartments, including 27 for social rent, 12 for over-55s, and 35 rent-to-buy homes—supporting affordable, accessible living for all generations. Alongside six new retail units to support local businesses, The Old Baths delivers meaningful social value. The project employed 70% of its workforce and subcontractors locally, created 11 apprenticeships, and engaged local schools with site visits. As part of its community pledge, the development also supported Grow Speke Community Garden by installing vital infrastructure to enable training sessions and winter projects.
