Legacie, A full-service community-led property developer, contractor and operator, headquartered in Liverpool, is redefining what regeneration means for local communities – raising an extraordinary £250,000 in a single evening to support social impact projects across the North West.

The Legacie Foundation Gala Dinner, held at the Titanic Hotel on 22nd October, brought together hundreds of partners, subcontractors, and investors under one roof to support a simple but powerful idea: that community-led development should build opportunities as well as buildings.
Hosted by comedian and actor John Thomson and featuring a show-stopping performance by Liverpool legends The Lightning Seeds, the evening combined entertainment, fundraising, and purpose — showcasing the power of collaboration and compassion within the construction and property industries.
Funds raised will directly support three remarkable local charities, The Inclusive Hub, LFC Foundation and Alder Hey Children’s Charity through the company’s social and community initiative, The Legacie Foundation. Dedicated to improving the lives of local people and communities, the foundation empowers individuals to build better futures and create lasting change.
“The property industry often gets judged by its skylines, but the real measure of success is the lives we help build and rebuild beneath them said John Morley, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Our suppliers and partners have shown that when business unites behind purpose, the impact can be transformational. This isn’t just about charity; it’s about responsibility, legacy and the future of our communities.”
One of the UK’s fastest-growing independent developers, Legacie has delivered landmark projects across Liverpool, Manchester and Luton. The next phase of growth will continue to focus on building social as well as economic value – reflecting the company’s belief that responsible regeneration is built on community, not just construction.
Gavin Currie, Chief Operating Officer at Legacie, added:
“The evening’s success shows what can be achieved when business and community pull in the same direction. The Legacie Foundation model demonstrates how local enterprises can go beyond bricks and mortar, uniting suppliers and partners to give back and set a new standard for responsible regeneration across our city region.”
The Gala Dinner captured that vision in motion: a celebration of Liverpool’s culture, creativity and generosity that raised vital funds and awareness for causes changing lives every day. Fundraising through the Legacie Foundation will continue to grow, strengthening its commitment as Community-led developer to creating a positive, legacy across the communities it serves.
The evening was made possible thanks to the generous support of event sponsors SAL, Vita, RWinvest, 18rec and Maclec, as well as a supply network of over 40 suppliers.
