Earlier today, we were proud to attend the official reopening of the North Liverpool Probation Centre, joined by James Timpson, Minister of State for Prisons. The event featured inspiring talks from probation teams and individuals with lived experience who’ve turned their lives around thanks to dedicated support from their probation officers.

A highlight of the event was seeing our employee, Gary, receive an award for his hard work and commitment. Since joining Legacie through our Second Chance Scheme, Gary has been promoted to Site Manager and is highly valued across the business. His probation officer, Stephanie, spoke of how this opportunity has been key to his success — well done, Gary!

Our Second Chance Scheme, in partnership with HMP Thorn Cross, offers ex-offenders meaningful employment, training, and a fresh start. Since 2016, we’ve supported 50 prison leavers, helping reduce reoffending while building a skilled, loyal workforce.
